Learn how to design and install active rainwater harvesting systems from the ground up. This hands-on workshop covers system sizing, filtration strategies, components, tools, and key installation considerations. We will be installing 2 x 2500 gallon tanks! The principles and techniques you’ll learn can be applied to rain tanks of all sizes.
Participants will receive detailed installation information that covers everything we work on during the project and more, with parts lists and installation instructions.
This workshop also includes an online class that introduces the principles and practices of rainwater harvesting.
Date for Online Class: Thursday, September 24, 2026 (6PM-7PM, exact timing TBD)
Date for Hands-On Workshop: Sunday, September 27, 2026 (8:30AM-4:30PM)
Workshop Location: Vista, CA.
Please Note: This workshop can be applied toward the requirements for earning your Water Harvesting Certificate.
