Join Catching H2O at San Diego Climate Week’s Water Summit!

The Water Summit is free and open to the public. Experts, advocates, local organizations, and community members will come together to address the Tijuana River sewage crisis, ocean resilience, and regional water security.

Catching H2O will have an outreach table at the Make Waves Fair from 5–6PM. Stop by to say hello!

Schedule

  • Paddle Out | 4PM
    San Diego Climate Week begins with a ceremonial paddle out on Glorietta Bay. Anyone with a paddleboard, surfboard, or kayak is encouraged to participate.
  • Non-Profit “Make Waves” Fair | 5PM
    Meet San Diego nonprofits working in public health, binational advocacy, coastal preservation, and water resilience. Enjoy light bites and beverages while learning how to get involved.
  • Tri-National Expert Panel and Breakout Sessions | 6PM
    Leaders representing the U.S., Mexico, and Tribal nations will discuss the Tijuana River sewage crisis and pathways toward lasting solutions. Attendees can then participate in small working groups focused on practical solutions and meaningful action.
